DairyBase integrations

You can currently connect DairyBase with LIC MINDA® and Farm Focus accounting software, with more integrations planned. These connections are designed to make it easier to bring farm information into DairyBase without re-entering the same data across multiple systems.

DairyBase and LIC’s MINDA® integration

You can share your MINDA data directly with DairyBase, which can prefill around 30% of the required physical information, including:

• Peak cows milked and monthly stock numbers to calculate days in milk.
• Young stock and replacement numbers.
• Mastitis and Lameness cases.

How to connect your MINDA account to DairyBase

1. Log into your LIC MINDA account and click on the settings icon at the top right of the screen.
2. From the drop-down menu, click 'Partners'.
3. Select 'DairyBase'.
4. From there, you will be directed to a consent screen that will require your MINDA login details to connect the accounts. Once connected, you can select the herd(s) you would like to share with DairyBase.

You can disconnect your MINDA account from DairyBase at any time.

Trouble connecting accounts?

If MINDA data is not showing in your DairyBase account, your participant code is either not in DairyBase or is incorrect. To amend this, email DairyBase: info@dairybase.co.nz.

DairyBase and Farm Focus integration

If you use Farm Focus accounting software, you can share your annual and bimonthly cashflow data directly with DairyBase. This gives you access to both in-season and early-season reporting and benchmarking.

The Farm Focus integration is designed to help you track progress during the season. It does not replace the final end-of-year accounts provided by your accountant, which are still used to complete and provide full DairyBase financial reports.

How to connect your Farm Focus account to DairyBase

1. Log into your Farm Focus account.
2. Click on 'Settings' in the left-hand menu bar.
3. Click on Connectors > DairyBase > Connect to DairyBase.
4. You will be redirected to the DairyBase login screen.
5. Enter your DairyBase email address and password to authorise the connection.
6. If you manage multiple farms, select the farm you want to connect.
   • Only one farm can be connected per Farm Focus subscription.
