Why Attend?

Join us on farm with John Martin, robotic dairy farmer, to look at the farm system and how robots have played a part in this successful business.

Topics covered on the day will be:

  • How robots have impacted farming in a remote area
  • The challenges and opportunities with adopting technology on farm
  • DairyNZ tools (DairyBase + Econtracker) and how these can be utilised when planning ahead financially
  • Update on new DairyNZ strategy and what this will look like in the Lower North Island.
  • We will also have the opportunity to have regional/industry updates from rural professionals

After we are finished at the farm, we will head to the Apiti Tavern for a warm lunch! Bring along your farm team and treat them to a bite to eat ahead of calving. Please RSVP by text to Tegan Pope on 027 808 3411 to help the Tavern cater for you.
